Yesterday was Aunt Angela’s 30th birthday! We celebrated by having dinner, cake and presents on Saturday night. Tyler spent most of the evening on the floor trying to get Nathan to play with him. This picture was taken right before Tyler gave Nate a goodbye kiss.

P.S. Look Grandma - My new outfit does fit!!!

Today Nathan had his 2 month well-baby appointment.  He weighs 12 lbs. 14 oz. (75 percentile) and is a whopping 25 1/2 inches long (off the charts - 100 percentile)!   He was 8 lbs. 13 oz. at birth and 22 inches long, so he’s gained 4 lbs. and grown 3 1/2 inches.  The doctor is very happy with his progress and says he is a very healthy boy.  She also said that he is going to be a very big boy, which we all new anyway - look at his daddy!

Nate received 5 shots today and he did really well.  He only cried a little and when it was all over he was back to his normal, smily self.  Mom was very proud of her little man.  He came home and ate 3 1/2 oz. of milk and this is what he’s doing now.

Hopefully we will make it through this milestone with only a little discomfort and pain.

Now that Nathan’s getting to where he does things other than sleep or stare into space, I thought it was time to start taking some video to mark the occasions.  Of course, this was also a good excuse to look at the latest in camcorder technology.  I certainly couldn’t use the old camcorder I’ve had for years…  Nathan deserves to be filmed in high definition video, right?So, yesterday my new Canon HG10 hard disk-based HD camcorder arrived, and we tested it out tonight during bath time.  The video edited easily on my iMac and I’ve exported it for your enjoyment.  It’s not HD on the web, of course, but it sure makes him look good.

After the bath we spent some time getting him to smile on the changing table.
