We had a rare and strange spring snow storm here in Kanas City on Saturday.  We received around 4 inches of white, fluffy snow.  Every other snow that we’ve had here has been accompanied by extremely cold temperatures, so Nathan was unable to go outside and play.  Sunday morning was  very nice, we dressed Nathan his his snow suit (thank you G.A. Necy) and we had a romp in this snow.

Nathan realized had he made those footprints in the snow.  That was really fun to watch!

We are so glad Nathan had a chance to play in the snow this year.  The good news is that his snow suit should fit him next winter, so we’ll definitely have to take advantage of the next snowfall.

The Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day we attended the Snake Saturday parade in North Kansas City.  This is an annual tradition for us and we’ve been every year for the past 8 years, excpet for last year.  Nathan was only a couple months old and it was too cold last year for him to be outside.

We had a great time at the parade and the weather was wonderful.  Nathan and Tyler had fun watching all of the bands and floats.  We were very happy to have the Bryant Family join us, as well.

All of the kids were so well-behaved and really enjoyed the parade.  We are definitely looking forward to next year!

Nathan has turned into quite the little helper these days.  He loves to sweep the kitchen floors with the Swiffer, and he actually does a pretty good job!  The other day Jeremy was vacuuming and Nathan thought he needed to help out.

At first we let him Swiffer the carpet.

But then he got a little curious.

So, daddy let him try his hand at vacuuming.

He needed a little help picking the vaccuming back up.

But, since he’s a big boy now he continued on his way.

Nathan did a great job and is such a good helper.  We can’t wait until he can do more chores for us!
