We are very fortunate to live across the street from a horse pasture, although in a few months our view is going to be slightly blocked by 3 new houses going in across the street from us.  Nathan loves to look out the window and find the horses.  Last week Jeremy took Nathan to meet them.

Nathan got to pet the horses and touch their nose.  Jeremy put him down in the grass, but Nathan got a little scared when he realized how big the horses actually were.

Even though our view will soon be blocked, the horses do occasionally venture over by the playground equipment, so I’m sure Nathan will get to pet them again while we are over there.

He is quite proud of himself! 

I made a roast for dinner last night.  Nathan insisted on helping me, because it was Mother’s Day after all.  He did a great job and the roast was wonderful!

Silly Sir thought a banana would be delicious in the roast.  We decided that ‘nanas were better enjoyed by themselves.
