Mr. Big Boy.

Time for another video.

Since we unfortunately don’t get to see a lot of our family on a regular basis, there’s so much progress Nathan has made that has gone unseen. I thought it would be good to showcase some of the latest things that he’s been up to in a little video that he and I worked up.

Rockin’ out.

Robin has made her apologies to you for posting photos infrequently, and I apologize for posting video even more infrequently. One of these days I’ll actually get around to finishing the birthday cake video from JANUARY.

Regardless, here’s the first of a couple videos this week.

A couple of weekends ago, Nathan went with me to Best Buy to purchase a new hard drive. While we were there we stopped by the video game section and they had a Rock Band kit out.  Of course, this isn’t the first time Nathan had seen a Rock Band setup or even played around with Rock Band instruments, but this time he really seemed to be into it and realize what he was actually doing.  I promised him that we’d go home and play Rock Band that evening.

So, as promised we got the instruments out and fired up the Wii. As you’ll see, Nathan played drums to Elvis Costello’s “Pump It Up” and… well, you’ll see.

Interestingly enough, even though he likes the drums, he wants me to play the drums so that he can play the guitar. I’ve given him my old Guitar Hero controller to play with and I’ll have to get some video of that. To me it’s even funnier than the drumming. I also know that I’ll probably be getting him a guitar with actual strings on it for Christmas.
